BUILT FOR THE FIRST DAY

YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE READY.
THAT'S WHAT THIS IS FOR.

Most people are not afraid of learning jiu jitsu. They are afraid of being dropped into a room where everyone else already knows what to do.

Corvus Intro to BJJ gives you a clear starting point. You will learn the movements, language, positions, and basic techniques in an environment made specifically for new students.

A LOOK INSIDE
THE INTRO CLASS.

THE SIX-WEEK ROADMAP

KNOW WHAT YOU'RE

The course builds from safe movement to positional understanding. Each week gives you a small, useful piece of the larger jiu-jitsu puzzle.

Base, posture, frames, hip movement, technical stand-up, and the language used in class.

WEEK 2
UNDERSTAND POSITION

The positional hierarchy, recognizing good and bad positions, and understanding each person’s goal.

WEEK 3
ESCAPE PINS

Creating space and using coordinated hip and shoulder movement to escape side control and mount.

WEEK 4
PLAY GUARD

Managing distance, maintaining connection, recovering position, and completing a basic sweep.

WEEK 5
CONTROL AND ADVANCE

Staying balanced on top, passing the legs, establishing control, and moving to stronger positions.

WEEK 6
CONNECT THE PIECES

Reviewing major positions, moving safely between them, submission awareness, and preparing for Fundamentals.
